IT Communications Network Tech III / Sr

Responsibilities The IT Communications Network Tech III/Sr is responsible for the installation and maintenance of organization-owned facilities, telecommunications and physical security systems and facilities including regular and emergency repair, testing and inspecting all facilities and equipment. Required Education and Experience - Associates degree in electronic technology and 7 years related experience and or equivalent combination of education and experience.  - Comprehensive knowledge and skills in performing installation, testing, maintenance and repair of radio, telecommunications, physical security, telephony, data/IP networking and computing systems - Demonstrated proficiency or certification (CCNA or equiv.) in IP routing, switching and Ethernet functionality. - Possess an effective understanding of electronic theory and circuit analysis. - Position requires individuals to be capable of operating 4X4 vehicles w/ standard transmissions on primitive roads where extremes of desert heat and high altitude snow and/or ice may be encountered   Preferred Special Skills, Knowledge, or Qualifications - Knowledge of service offerings; customer service principles; various computer software applications, PCs, operating systems, and other computer-related technologies. - Ability to install chains; operate or utilize a variety of other types of snow equipment such as snowcats, snowmobiles, and snowshoes depending upon area of assignment; and work at remote locations  - Previous work experience requiring mechanical aptitude and the safe usage of common hand tools. - Familiarity in Drafting or Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) - Supervision of tower work crews to ensure safe work practices and quality installations - All technicians are expected to be available for call out 24/7days a week and to be able to work out of town or outside of primary reporting area  Key Job Accountabilities 1) Under minimal or no supervision, perform construction, maintenance and repair work on all types of radio, telecommunications, physical security, IP networking, computing and telephony equipment 2) Resolve failures and impairments of a moderately complex nature in a timely, effective and efficient manner  3) Perform complex equipment maintenance and emergency repairs as required 4) May act as senior team member on construction or maintenance projects of significant size and scope. 5) Track and report progress on assignments.  Provide information and/or produce reports to assist with project construction estimates, as well as damage assessment reports, repair actions and implementation results 6) Perform or provide guidance in the completion of routine equipment maintenance and provide emergency repair service as needed. Produce reports and technical drawings for system documentation and maintain required recordkeeping. 7) Perform IP network configurations, as well as individual machines to configure drivers and settings of personal computers, printers, multi-function devices (MFD's), and Wireless APs 8) Maintain full compliance with all regulatory requirements, safety policies, procedures and standards and perform all work in a safe manner. 9) Provide process and equipment training, guidance and assistance to other employees Key Level Differentiators - Provides directional input on improvements and mitigation processes - Works under limited direct supervision - Exercises more independent judgment within well-defined parameters - Assigned medium complexity issues ID20181024

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
